Miley

Miley was adopted this morning by a nice man.
He was in yesterday with his friend who helped him pick out Miley.
They left late in the afternoon, unsure of their decision. At 4:50 last night, I was called by the man who said they'd be back in the AM to take her home! He came in at 11:45 AM with some friends and they adopted her! She purred during the whole adoption.

Miley was only in Kitty City for a few hours before she was swooped up.

Samantha, Socks, Steeler & Raiderette

Yesterday was a big day for adoptions!
First, Socks went home. Socks was from the Fairmont Shelter, and had only been in KC for a few days before being swooped up!

Then, my favorites, Steeler and Raiderette, were adopted together. I'm so happy for them, but I'll miss little Steeler a lot.

Lastly, Samantha went home right before closing. She was a talkative gal who loved people!

Victoria

VICTORIA was just adopted to a very nice couple who live in an apartment in San Francisco.
They had been looking for the right kitty for a while now, and saw Victoria on Comcast Pets on Demand, and fell in love. They made they trip down here, and were so happy.

So, seeing as Victoria was our outgoing mayor, congrats to Xena on being our new Kitty City Mayor!

Calvin, Ashley, and Flapper

Calvin, Ashley, and Flapper all danced their way into their forever home's hearts today.

Calvin went to a nice couple with no other cats. His new owners really love him already, and it was a great match.

Ashley came in and met with a mom and son. She was kind of skeptical of the situation at first, hissing a bit. She warmed up though. She will be living with another cat, who her new family described as, a "couch potatoe". I'm sure it'll be great in time!

Then, Flapper just went home to a young girl who fell in love right when she saw her. It was a great match, and I'm so excited to see one of my favorites go home :)

Betty and Tortellini

Betty was adopted by her long term foster yesterday afternoon. They were so stoked to finally call her their own.

Tortellini, the last of the "pastas" born here at the end of March was adopted this afternoon! I'm really happy for her seeing as she was very lonely without Ravioli anymore!

Clyde and new cats!

Clyde was adopted this afternoon by a great couple. He's going to be in a great home with another cat who is playful and looking for a companion. I'm sure Clyde will fit in perfectly!

Also, in the past two days we have gotten 12 new cats in!
Tarzan and Jane, two small kittens, from ECAS. Mabel, a 3 year old Siamese mix from ECAS. Samantha, a medium hair tabby who loves to talk, and Karson, a black cat whose kind of shy from a private surrender. Naruto, an orange tabby from Fairmont Shelter. Annie, a black and white tuxedo DMH from Fairmont. Socks, a brown tabby from Fairmont. Slim, a big white and brown kitty from Fairmont. Brad and Angelina, two little kittens, from Fairmont. And, Wiggles, a worm of a kitten, from Fairmont.
All of these cats and kittens are in our purple room for the time being because they are new arrivals. Hopefully we will see some of them in kitty city soon!

Hope everyone has a happy Wednesday night!
